If your goal is to lose weight and improve your body composition your gym sessions should include aspects of resistance and cardiovascular training, and include whole body, dynamic movements within workouts that progress sensibly over time. However, none of this matters if your eating plan is all out of whack, so it goes without saying that the food you consume is of equal importance. Losing weight doesn’t have to be boring and certainly doesn’t mean you have to spend hours and hours on the cross trainer wishing you were somewhere else!
