The Split Squat

Anybody who trains with me will become very familiar with the split squat; on first appearance it seems like such simple beast, however, after a few reps my clients quickly start to hate me! Overcome Knee Pain

I recently tore my ATL ligament in my ankle while training Jiu-Jitsu – aside from it being really frustrating as it stopped me from training, it got me thinking about the rehab process and how oftentimes the simplest of things are made overly complicated. With regards to knee pain, the answer is almost always starring at me straight in the face – by asking my clients to undertake a few simple movement screens I can assess their movement patterns and subsequently address their symptoms.
